What is a spamtrap?

Among the elements that most affect the deliverability of your campaigns, there is one that is particularly important: the presence or not of spamtraps in your files. As its name suggests, a "spamtrap" is a trap designed to trap spammers.

A spamtrap is therefore an email address that is not supposed to be in an email file. Having spamtraps in your file reveals either an illegal collecting method (via robots for example) or poor file quality. And it's very severely sanctioned by email service providers!
